Barbora Skaburskė is a passionate scenographer and designer from Vilnius (Lithuania) specializing in set and costume design in movie, fashion and performance fields. As the founder of Well Paid Artist, she thrive on collaboration, inviting fellow artists to join her in a variety of projects, from fashion photoshoots and films to interdisciplinary performances.

She hold a Bachelor’s degree in Scenography from the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts and is currently pursuing Master’s in Textile and Design at the same institution, where she continue to deepen her artistic knowledge. Barbora's journey began with studies in modern dance and classical music, where she explored the expressive possibilities of the piano, saxophone and body movement.

In later years, she expanded her artistic horizons internationally, working with Hotel Pro Forma in interdisciplinary theatre and creating her own performances. She was honored to receive the additional Young Designer Prize in the fashion category in 2017 for her bachelor’s final work on the G. Puccini opera "Turandot", which fueled her passion for innovative design in the performing arts.

The reason she founded Well Paid Artist is, firstly, to express herself through art, design, material, craftsmanship and performance as designer and creative director. She is dedicated to discovering new talents and forging interdisciplinary projects together by creating wide artist network to explore the different creative possibilities of collaboration!
